Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Rethinking Midlife ("we," "us," "our") collects on rethinkingmidlife.com, the.rethinkingmidlife.com, and rethinkingmidlife.mykajabi.com (together, "our sites"), how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. Questions are always welcome at hello@rethinkingmidlife.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- When you claim your preorder bonuses: your name, email address, where you preordered, and your order number (or the store's name if you didn't get one).
- When you take the Midlife Is Calling quiz or sign up for something free on our sites, such as the first chapter or a download: the details the form asks for, such as your name and email address, and for the quiz, your answers.
- When you email us: your email address and anything you choose to include.
Information collected automatically
- Like most websites, our sites use cookies and similar technology so that pages and forms work and so we can see basic information about visits, such as which pages are viewed. See section 5.
- Our email service can tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
2. How we use your information
- To send what you asked for: your Follow Your Sparks starter (emailed as a download link), your invitation to the live launch session with its date and link, and first word when enrollment opens for the Rethinking Midlife Workshop.
- To send our email newsletter, with honest, practical notes on energy, identity, and purpose. When you claim your bonuses, take the quiz, or sign up on our sites, we add you to this newsletter. You can unsubscribe whenever.
- To keep a record of preorder bonus claims.
- To reply when you write to us.
- To understand how our sites and emails are used, so we can make them better.
- To meet legal requirements.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We use a few service providers to run our sites and emails. They handle your information on our behalf, only to provide their services to us:
- Kajabi hosts our bonus and sign-up pages, the Midlife Is Calling quiz, our forms, contact list, and emails, and sets cookies on those pages. Kajabi's privacy notice is at kajabi.com/policies/privacy.
- Our website host runs rethinkingmidlife.com.
- The video platform we use for the live launch session. If you join, that platform's privacy policy also applies.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or when needed to protect someone's safety or our legal rights. If the Rethinking Midlife business is ever reorganized, merged, or transferred, your information would move with it and remain covered by this policy.
4. Your email choices
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to take you off our list by writing to hello@rethinkingmidlife.com. Unsubscribing stops all of our emails, which may include launch session details.
5. Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our service providers, such as Kajabi, use them to make our sites work (for example, to submit a form) and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of our sites, like forms, may not work without them.
We don't run ads or use advertising pixels, and we haven't added any tools that let other companies track your activity across other websites. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
Do Not Track: Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. Our sites don't currently respond to these signals and, as described above, we don't track your activity across other websites.
6. Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information
Write to hello@rethinkingmidlife.com to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some information if the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your name and email address while you're on our email list. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to make sure you don't receive our emails again. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except for anything we need to keep for legal reasons. We keep bonus claim details (where you preordered and your order number) only as long as we need them for the preorder bonuses and our launch records.
8. Keeping it safe
We use established service providers with their own security measures, and we limit access to the people who help run Rethinking Midlife. No website or email service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
9. Children
Our sites are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please write to us and we'll delete it.
10. California residents
We're based in California. California law lets residents ask whether a business shares their personal information with other companies for those companies' direct marketing. We don't. If you have questions about this, write to hello@rethinkingmidlife.com.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If the change is significant, we'll also let our email subscribers know by email.
